April 25-4: Albuquerque Beer Week, various locations, Albuquerque, NM
The third annual Albuquerque Beer Week will take place at various locations in Albuquerque. Last year's Beer Week consisted of more than 50 events, including a Trolley Ale Trail, beer dinners, beer and food pairings, a Craic Fest, educational programs, special releases, tap takeovers, trivia contests, and the Dukes of Ale homebrew competition. 2-4: East Dulwich Beer and Cider Festival, London, England
The South-East London Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale and the Dulwich Hamlet Football Club present the inaugural East Dulwich Beer and Cider Festival, which will take place at Champion Hill Stadium, on the grounds of the Football Club. This three-day event will feature more than 50 Real Ales, along with Real Cider, perry, and bottled beers. Hot and cold food will be available for purchase.
2-4: Kingdom of Fife Real Ale, Cider & Perry Festival, Glenrothes, Scotland
The 15th annual Kingdom of Fife Real Ale, Cider & Perry Festival will be held at Rothes Halls in Glenrothes. This three-day event, sponsored by the St Andrews Brewing Company, will feature more than 40 Real Ales, ciders, and perries, along with a selection of wines.
2-5: Lynch Gate May Beer Festival, Wolverhampton, England
The Lynch Gate, a Real Ale pub in Wolverhampton, will host a May Beer Festival. More than 40 ales (23 at a time), will be available, along with eight ciders. Most of these will be from the Devon and Cornwall area. Food will also be available for purchase.
2-5: Reading CAMRA Beer and Cider Festival, Reading, England
The Reading Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 19th annual Reading CAMRA Beer and Cider Festival, which will take place at King's Meadow. Organizers expect to have around 550 Real Ales, along with 150 ciders and perries and a large selection of foreign beers and English wines. A LocAle bar will showcase beer from breweries from within 30 miles of the festival. There will be live music on Friday and Saturday; food will be available at all times; and Sunday will be a family day with children's entertainment.
3-6: Ale in The Dale Beer Festival, Corfton, England
Diddlebury Village Hall Committee and the Sun Inn present the second annual Ale in The Dale Beer Festival. It will take place under a marquee at the Sun Inn, a public house that is also the home of the Corvedale Brewery. Television star John Challis will open the event, which will feature more than 35 Real Ales, along with live entertainment all three days, and food at the pub's restaurant. Admission is free, and families are welcome. The festival is a fund-raiser for the Village Hall Renewal project.
3-4: Calgary International Beerfest, Calgary, AB, Canada
Sobeys presents the ninth annual Calgary International Beerfest, which will be held in Halls D and E of the BMO Centre, on the grounds of Stampede Park. There will be more than 200 beers, and festival-goers are invited to vote for the "People's Choice" awards. There will also live entertainment, beer education, and food for purchase. VIP tickets, with early admission, are available. The festival charity is Autism, Aspergers Friendship Society.
3-5: Gateshead Beer Festival, Gateshead, England
The fourth annual Gateshead Beer Festival will be held on the grounds of the Gateshead Rugby Football Club. Organizers expect to have more than 100 beers from all over the country, with an emphasis on locally-brewed beer; over 25 ciders; and a cava bar. There will also be live music, a varied food menu, and a heated marquee and clubhouse lounge and bar in case of bad weather.
3-6: Long Itchington Beer Festival, Long Itchington, England
Long Itchington, a village in Warwickshire, will host its 2013 Beer Festival. This Bank Holiday weekend event will be celebrated at the village's six public houses. Participating establishments will offer a range of beers, along with food, live music, and other entertainment. Special festival glasses will be sold in all pubs, and can be taken between them.
3-12: Madison Craft Beer Week, Madison, WI
The third annual Madison Craft Beer Week will take place at various locations in Madison and Dane County. Last year's edition of this ten-day, two-weekend celebration of craft beer featured more 100 events including beer dinners, beer and food pairings, an educational program, meet-the-brewer events, homebrewing demonstrations, pub crawls, and a scavenger hunt.
3-4: St. Louis Microfest, St. Louis, MO
The 2013 St. Louis Microfest will be held in the Upper Muny Lot in Forest Park. This two-day, three-session event will feature beer from 75 domestic and international breweries. There will also be live music, cooking demonstrations and brewing discussions, food for purchase, and a silent auction. VIP Experience tickets, with Chef Tom Coghill's buffet (both evening sessions) or barbecue (Saturday afternoon), and a special selection of beers, and wines are available. The festival is a benefit for the Lift for Life Gym.
3-5: South Notts Real Ale Festival, Wilford, England
The second annual South Notts Real Ale Festival will be held in the clubhouse of the Nottingham Moderns Rugby Club in Wilford. Organizers expect to have more than 60 Real Ales and ciders from Nottinghamshire and surrounding areas. There will be live music on Friday and Saturday evenings, and family games and a charity rugby match on Saturday. Proceeds will be donated to the development of the Moderns Clubhouse and Cardiac Risk in the Young.
3-5: Towcester Beer Festival, Towcester, England
The 2012 Towcester Beer Festival will be held on the grounds of the Towcestrians Rugby Football Club. Organizers expect to have 60 Real Ales and 30 Real Ciders. There will also be live music throughout the weekend; a rugby match on Saturday afternoon; food, including barbecue, hog roast, Ghurka curry; and children's entertainment. Admission is free in the daytime.
3-6: Upwey Beer Festival, Upwey Weymouth, England
The 2013 Upwey Beer Festival will be held at The Royal Standard Inn in Upwey Weymouth. This weekend event will feature more than 30 Real Ales and ciders, many of them from local breweries, along with live entertainment.
4: Albuquerque Blues & Brews, Albuquerque, NM
Feel Good Festivals presents Albuquerque Blues & Brews 2013, which will take place at the Isleta Amphitheater. This afternoon event, which closes Albuquerque Beer Week, will feature beer from dozens of craft breweries; live blues music; and raffles, games, homebrew demonstrations, and vendor booths. VIP tickets, with early admission, are available. This year's festival charity is the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
4: Ashley's Cask Ale Festival, Westland, MI
Ashley's Bar & Grill, a beer bar in Westland, will host the 2013 Ashley's Cask Ale Festival. This daytime event (expanded hours this year) will feature more than 30 casks of Real Ale from breweries throughout the country, including a number from Michigan breweries. There will also be live music. This event is expected to sell out.
3: Beer, Bowling & Burger Festival, New York, NY
Get Real Events presents the Beer, Bowling & Burger Festival, will take place at Bowlmor Lanes near Times Square in Manhattan. This evening event, which celebrates New York Burger Week, will feature beer from two dozen craft breweries. The price of admission includes a game of bowling and three Angus mini-burgers. There will also be cheese, pickles, and chips to sample.
3-5: Bierbörse, Hückeswagen, Germany
The third annual Hückeswagen edition of Bierboerse, a series of beer festivals held across Germany, will take place on Bahnhofsstraße and at the Bahnhofsplatz. Hundreds of beers, including hard-to-find German microbrews, will be served in a Biergarten atmosphere. Festivities also include food and live entertainment, breweriana, and artisans' stands. The Bierboerse website is entirely in German.
4: Brew at the Zoo, Miami, FL
Miami New Times and Zoo Miami present the fourth annual Brew at the Zoo, which will take place at Miami Metrozoo. This evening event will feature more than 100 local, domestic, and imported beers; live entertainment, headlined by Naughty by Nature; an opportunity to see the animals; food for purchase; and interactive games. VIP tickets, with early admission, unlimited beer and spirits tasting, and catered food, are available.
4: The Engine Shed Beer Festival, Wetherby, England
The Engine Shed, a dance venue in Wetherby, will host its first-ever Beer Festival. This all-day event will feature more than 25 locally-sourced ales and ciders; a full day of live entertainment for the entire family; and food, including barbecue. Part of the proceeds will go to Martin House Hospice in Boston Spa as well as Help for Heroes.
4-11: Eugene Beer Week, Eugene/Springfield, OR
The third annual Eugene Beer Week will take place at breweries, restaurants, bars, and stores throughout the Eugene/Springfield area. Beer Week will be headlined by the Sasquatch Brew Fest (listed separately on the calendar). Other events will include beer dinners, beer and food pairings, beer-related educational events, special tastings and releases, and pint specials.
4: Fayetteville Foam Fest, Fayetteville, AR
The 2012 Fayetteville Foam Fest will be held at the Amp at Washington County Fairgrounds. This evening event will feature a selection of craft, domestic, and imported beers (more than 45 breweries were represented last year), along with food from local restaurants. The festival will benefit Feed Fayetteville.
4: Gastonia Grizzlies Ballpark Beer Fest, Gastonia, NC
The fifth annual Gastonia Grizzlies Ballpark Beer Fest will be held at Sims Legion Park. This evening event will feature more than 125 beers from throughout the Southeast, with over 25 breweries from the Carolinas represented. There will also be live music and a cornhole tournament. VIP tickets, with early admission and a food voucher, are available. This event has sold out the last three years.
4: Glens Falls Brewfest, Glens Falls, NY
The fourth annual Glens Falls Brewfest will be held at the Queensbury Hotel. This evening event will feature beer from local and national breweries (nearly 50 were represented at recent editions of this festival), along with complementary food from area restaurants. Proceeds will go the Adirondack Theatre Festival and the Feeder Canal Alliance.
4: Hogtown Craft Beer Festival, Gainesville, FL
The Hogtown Brewers, Gainesville's homebrew club, presents the second annual Hogtown Craft Beer Festival, which will take place at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens. Last year's festival was an afternoon event with beer from most Florida craft breweries and brewpubs, and a selection of beers from outside Florida; a beer education program; homebrewing demonstrations; live bands; and food and beer pairings. Part of the proceeds will go to the Alachua Conservation Trust and Saint Johns Riverkeepers.
4: Legendary Boonville Beer Festival, Boonville, CA
The Anderson Valley Brewing Company presents the 17th annual Legendary Boonville Beer Festival, which will take place at the Mendocino County Fairgrounds in the brewery's hometown of Boonville. This is an open-air event, held in the scenic Anderson Valley, with more than 100 beers from over 50 breweries, most of them from California and the West; music and dancing; and food and merchandise offered by vendors. On-site camping is available, and all proceeds go to local non-profit organizations.
4: PA Flavor, Harrisburg, PA
The Pennsylvania Brewers Guild, the American Culinary Federation, and the Department of Agriculture’s PA Preferred Program present PA Flavor 2013, which will be held at the State Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg. This afternoon event is a Pennsylvania food and beer pairing. Recent editions of the festival have featured beer from 40 breweries along with 20 PA Preferred food producers and 20 PA Preferred restaurants. VIP tickets, with early admission and a special selection of beers and hors d’oeuvres, are available.
4: Rochester Craft Beer Expo, Rochester, MN
Chop Liver LLC presents the 2013 Rochester Craft Beer Expo, which will take place at the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester. This afternoon event will feature beer from more than 60 breweries, with voting for the People's Choice award. The festivities will also include live entertainment, an educational program, and food for purchase.
4: Sasquatch Brewfest, Eugene, OR
The Northwest Legends Foundation presents the 2013 Sasquatch Brewfest, which will take place at the Eugene Hilton Ballroom. This all-day event will feature beer from Pacific Northwest breweries, a homebrew contest, live bands, food booths, and a silent auction. There will also be a beer dinner at the Hilton the evening before the festival. A large portion of the proceeds from the festival will be donated to the Glen Hay Falconer Foundation.
4-5: South Denver Beer Fest, Littleton, CO
BeerCraving presents the inaugural South Denver Beer Festival, which will take place at Clement Park in Littleton. This two-afternoon event, to be held in a venue with a view of the Rocky Mountains, will feature more than 120 beers from 60 or more breweries, many from Colorado. Gluten-free and non-alcoholic selections will be available. There will also be yard games, competitions, and a beer education program. VIP tickets, with early admission and access to the distillers' and cheesemakers' areas, are available.
4-11: South Shore, Cape & Islands Beer Week, eastern MA
GreatBrewers.com presents the second annual South Shore, Cape & Islands Beer Week, which will take place at various locations in eastern Massachusetts. Events will include a Brews Cruise, beer dinners, meet-the-brewer events, Cinco de Mayo celebrations, tap takeovers, and special tastings.
4: Wild West Brewfest, Katy, TX
The Katy Rotary Club presents the second annual Wild West Brewfest, which will take place at a new venue, the Villagio Town Center. This afternoon event will feature beer from 25 craft breweries, live music by Horizon, food from local restaurants, games, and a homebrewing demonstration. VIP tickets, with early admission, are available. The festival is a major fund-raiser for the Katy Rotary Scholarship Fund.
4: Witney Beer Festival, Witney, England
The Witney Round Table presents the second annual Witney Beer Festival, which will take place at St Mary's Church, a structure that dates back to the 13th century. Organizers expect to have around 30 Real Ales and ciders, all from Oxfordshire, with many beers brewed locally. There will also be a hog roast.
5: FredFest, Portland, OR
Portland's Hair of the Dog Brewery will host the eighth annual Fred Fest. This evening event, which honors legendary beer writer Fred Eckhardt, will feature an assortment of 20 hand-selected beers, many of them brewed locally, along with food to pair with the beer and a cake to celebrate Fred's birthday. Part of the proceeds will go to a charity of Fred's choice. This event is expected to sell out.
9-11: Banbury Beer Festival, Banbury, England
The North Oxfordshire Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 13th annual Banbury Beer Festival, which will take place at the TA Centre. This three-day festival will feature 90 Real Ales from around the country, with an emphasis on ales from Cumbria, along with around 20 ciders and perries. There will be live entertainment, a local beer and cheese tasting event on Friday, and a tombola run by the British Legion.

9-19: Seattle Beer Week, Seattle, WA
The fifth annual Seattle Beer Week will take place at various locations in and around Seattle. Recent editions of this 11-day celebration of craft beer have included a "beer bus crawl," a celebration of Northwest women in beer, beer dinners and brunches, food and beer pairings, tap takeovers, release parties, and games and contests.
10-11: Bath Beer Festival, Bath, England
The Bath and Borders Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 35th annual Bath Beer Festival, which will take place in the Premier Suite of the Bath Rugby Club. Organizers expect to have more than 40 Real Ales, along with a selection of traditional ciders. Hot food will be available at all sessions, and there will be live music Saturday evening.
10-11: Beacon Hill Beer Festival, Hindhead, England
The Hindhead Royal British Legion presents the 11th annual Beacon Hill Beer Festival, which will take place at the Legion's headquarters on Beacon Hill Road in Hindhead. Organizers expect to have at least 26 champion ales, five award-winning ciders, and a selection of bottled global beers, along with live music and food for purchase. The festival contributes to The Poppy Appeal and MacMillan Cancer Support.
10-19: Long Island Beer Week, Long Island, NY
The third annual Long Island Craft Beer Week will take place at breweries, restaurants, and bars on Long Island. This ten-day celebration of craft beer is an effort to raise awareness of local craft beer culture and encourage people to go to local establishments. Events in past Beer Weeks have included the Golden Tap Awards Gala, Caskfest, meet-the-brewer nights, beer dinners, brewery tours, trivia, cooking classes, and special tastings.
10-11: Macclesfield Charity Beer Festival, Macclesfield, England
Macclesfield and District 332 Round Table, in conjunction with Trevor Gammage of CAMRA and Micky Jones of the Macclesfield Rugby Club, presents the 19th Macclesfield Charity Beer Festival, which will take place under a marquee on the grounds of the Rugby Club. Organizers expect to have 250 Real Ales, recommended by the Campaign for Real Ale, along with Real Ciders and perries, entertainment, and food for purchase. Saturday's daytime session will be free and family-friendly. This year's festival charity is the David Lewis Centre.
10-11: Mayfest, the Halifax Beer Festival, Halifax, England
The Halifax & Calderdale Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents Mayfest 2013, the Halifax Beer Festival, which will take place at the Square Chapel Centre for the Arts in Halifax. More than 50 Real Ales will be available, along with ciders and perries. Food will be available for purchase.
10-11: North Wales Beer Festival, Wrexham, Wales
The Chester and South Clwyd branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the inaugural North Wales Beer Festival, which will take place at the Centenary Club, Wrexham Football Ground, at Glyndwr University in Wrexham. The Champion Beer of North Wales competition will be held on Friday evening. Organizers expect to have 50 or more Real Ales, with an emphasis on local microbrews, along with 15 ciders and perries. Live bands will perform at each session, hot and cold food will be available for purchase, and there will be pub games.
10: Rocket City Brewfest, Huntsville, AL
The Huntsville Chapter of Free the Hops! presents the fifth annual Rocket City Brewfest, which will take place at The Historic Depot and Roundhouse in Huntsville, the state's unofficial craft beer capital. There will be tasting sessions on Friday evening and Saturday evening, each a wide range of domestic and imported beers (there were 100 at recent festivals), along with food from local restaurants and live music. The festival is a fund-raiser for FreeTheHops!' advocacy efforts.
10: Springfest at the Beach, New London, CT
The New London Rotary Foundation presents the 34th annual Springfest & Chili Cook-Off, which will take place in The Pavilion at Ocean Beach Park in New London. This evening event will feature more than 150 imported and domestic beers, beer-friendly food, and live musical entertainment.
10-11: UnTapped Blues Festival, Kennewick, WA
The 17th annual UnTapped Blues Festival will be held at two locations in Kennewick. Recent editions of this festival have been two-day celebrations centered around craft beer and blues, bluegrass, and other musicians from around the country. The Clover Island Inn will host Friday's kick-off party, with "blues under the bridge"; and Saturday's main session, at the Benton County Fairgrounds, will feature more than 30 breweries and over 100 beers, along with food and wine.
10-12: Wroclaw Good Beer Festival, Wroclaw, Poland
The 2013 Wroclaw Good Beer Festival will be held in the Cultural Centre “Zamek” (“The Castle”). This three-day event, which organizers describe as "the only event of its kind held in Poland, will feature several hundred beers from small breweries in Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany, and Belgium; traditional Central European food; brewing workshops; beer-themed exhibitions and lectures; a green fair; rock and ethno-folk music; and special attractions for children.
11: American Beer Classic, Chicago, IL
The inaugural American Beer Classic will be held on the playing field of Soldier Field in Chicago. There will be afternoon and evening tasting sessions, each with beer from more than 100 breweries from around the country. There will also be educational sessions, live music on the stage in the South Courtyard, food for purchase, and tours (extra charge) of the stadium. VIP tickets, with early admission and complimentary stadium tours, are available.
11: Beer, Bourbon & Barbecue Festival, Charlotte, NC
Trigger Agency, LLC, presents the Charlotte stop on the 2013 Beer, Bourbon & Barbecue Festival tour. It will take place at Symphony Park at SouthPark Mall. This afternoon event will feature unlimited sampling of 60 beers and 40 bourbons; live rock and blues music; barbecue, Southern specialties, and other foods; seminars led by master distillers, brewmasters, and pit masters; contests; and merchandise for sale. VIP tickets, with early admission, are available.
11: BrewFest at Mount Hope, Manheim, PA
The fifth annual BrewFest at Mount Hope will be held at historic Mount Hope Estate, located on the grounds of the Pennsylvania Renaissance Festival in Manheim. There will be afternoon and evening tasting sessions (more than 25 breweries were represented at last year's festival) along with live entertainment, food for purchase, an educational program, a homebrew competition, and merchandise vendors.
11: Buellton Brew Fest, Buellton, CA
The Buellton Chamber of Commerce presents the second annual Buellton Brew Fest, which will take place at River View Park. This afternoon event will feature beer from an expanded selection of breweries, many of them based in California, along with live music and food (the price of admission includes a meal voucher). There will be a beer dinner at Bin 2860 International Wine Shop & Tasting Room the evening before the festival itself. Last year's festival sold out.
11: Firkin Fest at Stillpoint Farm, Mt. Airy, MD
FirkinFest 2013 will be held at Stillpoint Farm, a hop farm in Mt. Airy that has been licensed as Maryland's first farm brewery. This family-friendly afternoon event, which is part of Frederick Beer Week, will feature cask-conditioned beer from Maryland craft brewers. There will also be live bluegrass music, food for purchase, and craft vendors.
11-18: Frederick Beer Week, Frederick, MD
Flying Dog Brewery presents the third annual Frederick Beer Week, which will take place at various locations in Maryland's second-largest community. The headline event is the Maryland Craft Beer Festival (listed separately on the calendar). Past years' events have also included an "unofficial" kickoff party, Mother's Day beer brunches, a family-friendly firkin ale festival, a beer judging class, a homebrew competition, an appearance by beer celebrities, a tap takeover featuring locally-brewed beer, and a scavenger hunt.
11: Garden State BrewFest, Berkeley Heights, NJ
The 2013 Garden State BrewFest will be held at Mt. Carmel Society Fairgrounds in Berkeley Heights. This afternoon event will feature more than 50 craft beers from 25 breweries, including a “Strange Brews Tent” with unusual beers, along with live music and local food and merchandise vendors. There will also be a VIP pairing experience, with Tim "the Brew Chef" Schafer of the Ale Street News. This year's festival charity will provide relief from Hurricane Sandy. Last year's festival sold out.
11: Great Petaluma Chili Cookoff, Salsa and Beer Tasting, Petaluma, CA
The Cinnabar Theater Young Repertory Company presents the 16th annual Great Petaluma Chili Cookoff, Salsa and Beer Tasting, which will take place at Herzog Hall in Behren's Park on the Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds. Recent editions this afternoon event have featured beer from around 15 Bay Area and West Coast microbreweries, chilis and salsas prepared by 30 teams, a judged competition and voting by festival-goers, and live entertainment. The festival is a fund-raiser for the theater's children's programs.
11: Greater Northeast Philadelphia Beer Festival, Philadelphia, PA
The third annual Greater Northeast Philadelphia Beer Festival will be held at Cannstatter Volkfest Verein. This afternoon outdoor event will feature at more than 60 beers, with brewers in attendance. Festival-goers are invited to vote for best beer of the festival. There will also be live bands; food provided by the venue; and merchandise for sale, including T-shirts and hand-rolled cigars.
11-12: Ludlow Food Festival, Ludlow, England
The 2013 Ludlow Spring Food Festival will be held on the grounds of historic Ludlow Castle. This event, produced with the cooperation of the Society of Independent Brewers, will feature more than 150 Real Ales from over 50 small breweries from the West and Wales; a selection of other drinks; dozens of producers selling food, including local sausages and bread, with hands-on food-making demonstrations; and live music inside the castle. The beer festival coincides with the Marches Transport Festival, and 180 classic cars will be on display.
11: North Carolina Brewers and Music Festival, Huntersville, NC
Rural Hill, a historic site located in Huntersville, will host the third annual North Carolina Brewers and Music Festival. This all-day event will include a three-hour tasting session, with beer more than 25 breweries, most of them from North Carolina and the Southeast. There will also be music from seven bands, along with food, merchandise, children’s activities, beer education, and a chance to learn about the area's non-profits. Camping is available at the festival site. Proceeds will go toward the preservation and advancement of Rural Hill.
11: North Texas Beer Festival, Las Colinas, TX
The third annual North Texas Beer Festival returns to Irving Convention Center in Las Colinas. This afternoon event will feature hundreds of beers and wines from around the world, keynote speakers, home brewing demonstrations, culinary classes, and live music in an outdoor beer garden. There will be a VIP event, with live music, after the festival itself. This year's primary festival charity is Honor Flight DFW.

11: Washington Crossing Brewfest, Washington Crossing, PA
The Friends of Washington Crossing Park present the third annual Washington Crossing Brewfest, which will take place at the Upper Park, behind the Thompson-Neely House. This afternoon event, to be held on the shore of the Delaware River, will feature beer from more 40 breweries, many from the region, along with food and live music. Proceeds will benefit the Friends.
11: Wicken Beer Festival, Wicken, England
The 2013 Wicken Beer Festival will be held at the Wicken Recreation Ground. This evening event will feature a variety of Real Ales (there were 20 at last year's festival), along with Real Lagers, ciders, and wine. There will be live music under two marquees; and barbecue, sausages, and burgers. Admission and parking are free. The festival is a fund-raiser to improve the Recreation Ground.
12-20: San Antonio Beer Week, San Antonio, TX
The third annual San Antonio Beer Week will take place at various locations in and around San Antonio. This year's Beer Week has been expanded to ten days. Events at past Beer Weeks have included a special night at each of the San Antonio-area breweries, beer dinners and tastings, walking and bus pub crawls, a pro-am brewing competition, a lineup of speakers, and numerous special beers.
13-19: American Craft Beer Week, nationwide
The Brewers Association presents 2013 American Craft Beer Week, which will take place at establishments across the country. American Craft Beer Week, which kicks off the summer craft beer season, will be celebrated by hundreds of craft brewers and beer retailers, thousands of beer fans, and a congressional resolution honoring the nation's craft brewing industry.
14-15: Wyoming Brewers Festival, Cheyenne, WY
The 18th annual Wyoming Brewers Festival will be held at the Cheyenne Depot Plaza. This two-day event will consist of a Tasters Party Friday evening with beer, live music, and food from Cheyenne's restaurants; and a Brewers Festival on Saturday evening with beer tasting (around 30 breweries were represented at recent festivals), and live music.
16: Beer Under Glass, Chicago, IL
Beer Under Glass returns to the Conservatory in Chicago's Garfield Park. This Thursday evening event, presented in partnership with the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild, is a headline event of Chicago Craft Beer Week. It will feature a variety of beers from Chicago's craft breweries, along with small plates from popular local restaurants. VIP tickets, with early admission, are available.
16-18: Chester Charity Beer Festival, Chester, England
Chester Grosvenor Round Table presents the 25th annual Chester Charity Beer Festival, which will take place on the grounds of the Chester Rugby Union Football Club. This three-evening event will feature more than 120 Real Ales, ciders, and perries, along with a selection of wines. There will also be live entertainment and pub games, and hot and cold food will be available. All profits from the festival will go to local charities.
16-26: Chicago Craft Beer Week, Chicago, IL
The fourth annual Chicago Craft Beer Week will be celebrated at more than 250 venues throughout the city. This event's theme is "Chicago: A City of Neighborhoods," with venues divided into multiple neighborhoods plus the suburbs. Chicago Beer Week, which coincides with American Craft Beer Week, will begin with Beer Under Glass (listed separately on the calendar). Other events will include beer dinners, food and beer pairings, tap takeovers, special tastings, and meet-the-brewer evenings.
16-June 1: Czech Beer Festival, Prague, Czech Republic
The sixth annual Czech Beer Festival will be held at the Exhibition Centre in Prague. The festival, which organizers describe as "the largest gastronomic event in the Czech Republic," will feature a beer tent with a capacity for 10,000. There will be more than 70 Czech beers, served in glass pitchers by costumed servers; a wide range of food, including dishes from local chefs, pork and beef butchers, delicatessens, bakers, and confectioners; and live music on stage in three tents.
16-18: Dewsbury & Heavy Woollen Beer Festival, Dewsbury, England
The Heavy Woollen District branch of the Campaign for Real Ale, in partnership with many local organizations, presents the fourth annual Dewsbury & Heavy Woollen Beer Festival, which will take place at Dewsbury Town Hall. Organizers expect to have more than 80 Real Ales, with an emphasis on Yorkshire products, 15 ciders and perries, and a wide range of bottled beers. There will also be a “spotters” bar, with 20 beers new to the Dewsbury area. Three bands will perform, and there will be a selection of food. This year's festival charity is Shootingstar Chase.
16-20: Eurovision Beer Contest, Clifton Village, England
The Portcullis, a public house in Clifton Village, will host a Eurovision Beer Contest Festival. More than 25 ales and ciders, including several Dawkins Ales, will be available to help those watching the Eurovision competition either celebrate or drown their sorrows. (The semi-finals on Thursday, and the finals are on Saturday.) The pub has a late license for Friday and Saturday nights, and food will be available.
16-18: Forever Bury Beer Festival, Bury, England
The Bury Football Club presents the ninth Forever Bury Beer Festival, which will take place at the Bury FC Social Club. Recent editions of this festival have featured around 40 Real Ales from all over the country, along with cider and continental bottled beer; hot food for purchase; and live music during evening sessions.
17-18: Barrow Hill Rail Ale and Cider Festival, Barrow Hill, England
Barrow Hill Roundhouse, Britain's only surviving operation of its kind, will host the 12th annual Rail Ale and Cider Festival. The festival will feature more than 200 ales, along with ciders and continental bottled beers. There will also be rides on steam trains, live entertainment afternoons and evenings, and hot food and sandwiches.
17-18: Brewer's Memorial Ale Fest, Newport, OR
Rogue Ales presents the seventh annual Brewer's Memorial Ale Fest, which will take place inside the brewery in Newport. The dog-friendly event, which honors brewmaster John Maier's faithful companion Brewer, who passed away in 2006, features beer from at least 50 craft beers; live music; and canine activities, including Doggy Musical Chairs, Dog Wash, Dog Dancing, and Celebrity Dog Look-Alikes. The festival will benefit the Central Coast Humane Society and Oregon Coast Therapy Animals.
17-18: Clitheroe Beer Festival, Clitheroe, England
The East Lancashire Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the eighth annual Clitheroe Beer Festival, which will take place at St Mary's Centre. Organizers expect to offer around 60 Real Ales and ciders from around the country, along with 18 ciders and perries. Live bands will perform at both evening sessions, and food will be available for purchase.
17-20: Fest der 100 Biere, Wolkering, Germany
Fest der 100 Biere 2013 will be held in the Bavarian town of Wolkering. This four-day event will feature between 350 and 400 Bavarian beers, including beer from new breweries. There will also be live music. The festival website is entirely in German.
17-19: Hanoverian Beer Festival, Hanover, Germany
The inaugural Hanoverian Beer Festival will be held in Hanover's Altstadt. This three-day event will feature beer from German and international breweries. There will also be musical entertainment, food tailored to the beer, presentations and interviews about beer, and prize drawings. The festival website is entirely in German.
17: Jacksonville Craft & Import Beer Festival, Jacksonville, FL
The fifth annual Jacksonville Craft and Import Beer Festival will take place at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena. The evening event, which has been expanded to cover all three floors of the arena, will feature more than 300 beers from over 45 breweries. Local restaurants will serve food, live bands and DJs will perform, and there will be a silent auction and prize giveaways. Proceeds will go to several local charities. VIP and Ultra VIP tickets are available.
17-18: Kingston Beer Festival, Kingston, England
The Kingston & Leatherhead Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 14th annual Kingston Beer Festival, which will take place at the Kingston Workmen's Club and Institute. This year's festival, which celebrates the 150th anniversary of the opening of Kingston Station and the railway line to Twickenham, will feature more than 50 Real Ales, many from local breweries, along with at least 12 ciders and perries. Hot and cold food will be served at all sessions.
17-19: Totton and Eling Beer and Cider Festival, Totton, England
The second annual Totton and Eling Beer and Cider Festival will be held at the Empire Hall in Totton. This Bank Holiday weekend event will feature 18 ales and various ciders. There will be live entertainment on Saturday and Sunday evenings, and admission will be free on Sunday.
17-18: World Expo of Beer, Frankenmuth, MI
The Frankenmuth Jaycees present the 2013 World Expo of Beer, which will take place at Heritage Park. This two-day community fund-raiser will feature beer from more than 80 breweries and vendors, many of them based in Michigan. There will also be a "Beer Schnobs" school, and local food and merchandise vendors will be on hand.
17-19: Yapton Beerex, Yapton, England
The Western Sussex Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 24th annual Yapton Beerex, which will take place in the Yapton & Ford Village Hall. There will be more than 65 beers from small, independent breweries, many of them from the north of England, with an emphasis on golden, hoppy beers, along with Real Ciders and Perries. Food will be served, and there will be live music Saturday evening.
18-19: Ale and Steam Weekend, Winchcombe, England
The North Cotswold Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale, in conjunction with the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway, present the fifth annual Ale and Steam weekend, which will take place at Winchcombe Station. Twenty-four beers will be available, along with hot and cold food and soft drinks. A ticket for travel or a platform ticket on the day is required for entry to the festival.
18: Ameri"Can" Canned Craft Beer Festival, Scottsdale, AZ
SanTan Brewing presents the third annual Ameri"Can" Canned Craft Beer Festival, which will take place at the Scottsdale Civic Center. The 2013 Yorktoberfest Beer Garden returns to the York Fairgrounds. Rowland's Calumet Brewing Company presents the 22nd annual Wisconsin Micro-Brewers Beer Fest, which will take place at the Calumet County Fairgrounds in Chilton. This afternoon, rain-or-shine event will feature beer from more than 25 Wisconsin breweries, along with food, live music from Jerry Schneider band and Copper Box, and breweriana for sale. Designated drivers will be admitted free. This festival is expected to sell out.
20-25: Cambridge Beer Festival, Cambridge, England
The Cambridge & District Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 40th annual Cambridge Beer Festival, which will take place at Jesus Green. This festival is the UK's longest-running and second-largest. It will feature a wide range of beer from local and national breweries (more than 100 were represented last year), along with ciders, perries, mead, and wine. There will also be a CAMRA cheese counter and locally-produced bread, pork pies, and ham.

The third annual Nevada Beer Weeks will take place at hundreds of bars, retailers, and other establishments in Las Vegas and Reno, as well as at other locations in Nevada. These 13-day celebrations will include several beer festivals, along with beer dinners, beer and food pairings, tap takeovers, and special tastings.
23-25: Copenhagen Beer Festival, Copenhagen, Denmark
The Danish Beer Enthusiasts presents the 13th annual Copenhagen Beer Festival, which will take place at Tap 1 at the former Carlsberg brewery in Copenhagen. Organizers expect to have around 700 beers from 70 exhibitors. There will be beers from Denmark (Copenhagen has a number of microbreweries), other European countries, and overseas, and will include beers that have not been available in Denmark. Food will be available for purchase.
23-25: Kidderminster Beer Festival, Kidderminster, England
The Kidderminster Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 2013 Kidderminster Beer Festival, which will be held at a new venue, Town Hall. This three-day event, which honors the inventor of the postage stamp, will feature more than 40 beers, ciders, and perries, with an emphasis on Yorkshire-brewed product. There will be live music Friday evening, and food will be available for purchase.
23-25: Lincoln Beer Festival, Lincoln, England
The Lincoln Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 2013 Lincoln Beer Festival, which will take place at the Lincoln Drill Hall. The city of Norwich, England, will host City of Ale 2013. Hundreds of Real Ales will be available at 30 pubs and other outlets in Norwich. The 27th annual California Festival of Beers will be held at Madonna Inn Meadows in San Luis Obispo. There will be a Connoisseur Tasting Friday evening and a Grand Tasting Saturday afternoon. This event will benefit Hospice of San Luis Obispo County.

The third annual Latvia Beer Fest will be held at Vermanes Garden in the heart of Riga. This three-day event, which organizers describe as "the biggest beer festival in the Baltic states," will feature more than 150 beers from over 35 breweries, including breweries from Latvia and the rest of Europe. The Memphis Zoo will host the annual Macy's Zoo Brew. This evening event will feature beers from around the world, along with wine and soft drinks. There will also be live entertainment and food for purchase. VIP tickets are available. This event is a fund-raiser for the zoo.
24-27: May Bank Holiday Beer Festival, Great Dumnow, England
The Angel and Harp, a public house in the historic market town of Great Dunmow, will host a May Bank Holiday Beer Festival. This four-day event will feature more than 30 local ales from small breweries in Essex, along with live music and barbecue.

The Newark Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 18th annual Newark Beer Festival, which will take place at Riverside Park on the banks of the River Trent. The third annual BrewSki will be held in front of the West Village Lodge’s Clearing Rock Bar in Mt. Bachelor. This two-afternoon event, which is part of Central Oregon Beer Week, closes the resort's season. Braustelle presents the fourth annual Festival der Bierkulturen, which will take place at Vordergrund in Ehrenfeld. This two-day event will feature beer from 15 small craft breweries, many with brewery representatives on hand. The festival website is entirely in German.
25: Great Alaska Craft Beer and Homebrew Festival, Haines, AK
The 21st annual Great Alaska Craft Beer and Homebrew Festival will be held in Dalton City on the Southeast Alaska State Fairgrounds in Haines. This afternoon event will feature craft beer from breweries around the state and region, live music, and food. There will also be a five-course brewers' dinner in Harriett Hall the evening before the tasting itself. The beer tasting has sold out each of the last four years.
25-26: LS6 Beer Festival, Leeds, England
The LS6 Beer Festival returns this year after a one-year hiatus. It will be held at Left Bank Leeds, an arts and events venue. This two-day event will feature more than 25 award-winning beers, with an emphasis on specialty ales--including a one-off festival beer--and Yorkshire favorites. There will also be live music, Left Bank's take on "pub entertainment," and street food.
25: Michigan Beer & Brat Festival, Thompsonville, MI
Crystal Mountain Resort, in Thompsonville, will host the eighth annual Michigan Beer & Brat Festival. This afternoon/evening outdoor event will feature 99 Michigan microbrews, along with local hard cider and mead. There will be live music, along with gourmet brats from northwest Michigan markets. An afterglow party will take place in the Vista Lounge after the festival itself. VIP tickets, with early admission and ten free tokens, are available.
25: North Carolina Hops and Roots Fest, Pittsboro, NC
The third annual North Carolina Hops and Roots Fest will be held at the Shakori Hills Community Arts Center in Pittsboro. This all-day, family-friendly festival will feature North Carolina beer and wine; blues and roots performers; and locally-sourced food prepared by chefs from the area. Proceeds will benefit NC Blues in the Schools.

25: ValleyFest Beer and Wine Festival, McGaheysville, VA
The Harrisonburg-Rockingham Chamber of Commerce resents the 2013 ValleyFest Beer and Wine Festival, which will take place at Massanutten Resort in McGaheysville. Recent editions of this festival have been all-afternoon events featuring both beer and wine, much of it from the Shenandoah Valley; live music and dancing; food sampling; and craft items for sale.

Venice Brew Bash II will be held in downtown Venice. This outdoor, block party-style event will feature more than 80 craft-brewed and imported beers. Alan Shaw, the Sarasota Herald Tribune's Beer Geek, will be in attendance. There will also be live music and food for purchase. 25-26: Weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation, Buggenhout, Belgium
The Opstalse Bierpallieters, a branch of Zythos, the Belgian beer consumers' organization, presents the 22nd annual Weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation, which will take place at Tapperij Beukenhof in Buggenhout. This is a unique event, with a lineup of 70 beers dominated by lambic-based beers, all from independent lambic brewers and blenders. Transportation is available between the festival venue and nearby railway stations, and admission to the event is free.
25-27: Yorkshire Ales and Sausages, Prestbury, England
The Royal Oak, a 16th-century public house in Prestbury, will host its annual Ales and Sausages beer festival. This Whitsun Bank Holiday weekend event will feature more than 20 of Yorkshire's finest ales, along with European sausage platters.
26: Crown Beer Fest, Crown Point, IN
Crown Brewing Company presents the 2013 Crown Beer Fest, which will take place at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Crown Point. This afternoon event, formerly known as the Illiana Mayfest,, will feature more than 120 beers from 30 breweries from Indiana, Illinois, and nearby states. Many beers served at the festival cannot be found in local liquor stores. VIP tickets, with early admission, are available. Proceeds will benefit The Arc of Northwest Indiana.
26: Festival of the Brewpubs, Arapahoe, CO
Arapahoe Basin ski resort will host the 12th annual Festival of the Brewpubs. This afternoon event, which the resort describes as a "Memorial Weekend beach party," will feature beer from a variety of Colorado brewpubs, live music, and springtime skiing. The price of admission includes a complimentary barbecue slider.
28-June 1: Colchester Real Ale and Cider Festival, Colchester, England
The Colchester Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 28th annual Colchester Real Ale and Cider Festival, which will take place at the Arts Centre, a historic deconsecrated church. Organizers expect to have more than 120 beers, Real Ciders and perries, a bar with draft and bottled Belgian beers, and English wines. Food will be available at all sessions, and there will be live music.
29-June 2: Mondial de la Biere, Montreal, QC, Canada
The 20th annual Mondial de la Biere will be held indoors at the Palais des Congrès and outdoors on Place Jean-Paul-Riopelle in downtown Montreal. Organizers expect to have about 500 beers from around the world, including hard-to-find beers and with beers specially brewed for the festival; Quebec cider and other food specialties from the province; and the Mbeer series of conferences and seminars. Admission to the festival is free.
30-June 2: Bierbörse, Schwerin, Germany
The third annual Schwerin edition of Bierboerse, a series of beer festivals held across Germany, will take place at Bertha-Klingberg-Platz. Hundreds of beers, including hard-to-find German microbrews, will be served in a Biergarten atmosphere. Festivities also include food and live entertainment, breweriana, and artisans' stands. The Bierboerse website is entirely in German.
30-June 1: Great Grampian Beer Festival, Aberdeen, Scotland
The Aberdeen, Grampian & Northern Isles Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 27th annual Great Grampian Beer Festival, which will take place in the Richard Donald Stand in Pittodrie Stadium. The festival will feature "the longest bar in North East Scotland," with 100 beers (including "Saturday Specials"), along with cider and perry.
30-June 1: Stockport Beer and Cider Festival, Stockport, England
The Stockport and South Manchester Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 27th annual Stockport Beer & Cider Festival, which will take place at Edgeley Park. More than 200 beers and ciders will be available, including a special festival beer and beers from across Europe at the "Real Ale in the Bottle" Bar. There will be live entertainment all three days, along with hot and cold food and merchandise stalls. Families very welcome. The festival supports Walthew House for people with visual and hearing impairment.
30-June 1: The Continental's Tenth Beer Festival, Preston, England
The Continental, a public house and restaurant in Preston, will host its tenth Beer Festival. This three-day event will feature more than 100 craft beers, along with small-batch ciders and perries, which will be served in the beer hall. There will also be live music under a large marquee in the beer garden; and food, including the popular hog roast. Admission is free.

The Triple fff Brewery presents the 2013 Alton Summer Beer Festival, which will take place at Alton College. This two-day, three-session event will feature beer from around 25 breweries, along with live music and a variety of food for purchase. Proceeds will benefit local charities.

Beer Advocate magazine and Harpoon Brewery present the sixth annual American Craft Beer Fest, which will take place at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston. The festival, which organizers describe as "the East Coast's largest celebration of American beer," will consist of three tasting sessions, each with more than 600 craft beers from over 125 American brewers, along with a beer education program and food for purchase.

Punk musician Attila the Stockbroker and cask beer advocate Alex Hall present the 18th annual Glastonwick, which will take place at Church Farm in Coombes. This three-day event, which organizers describe as a "beer, music, poetry and more beer festival," will feature 85 cask-conditioned ales, along with a selection of farmhouse ciders and perries; 22 musical and poetic acts; and food for purchase.

The Guildford Cricket Club will host the fourth Guildford Beer Festival, which will take place under marquees on the club's grounds. The festival, held on the weekend before Guildford Cricket Week, will feature more than 60 cask ales from independent breweries in Surrey and surrounding counties, along with hand-crafted ciders, wines, and soft drinks. Food will be available, and there will be a varied entertainment lineup.

The fifth annual Kohler Festival of Beer will be held in the Village of Kohler. On Friday evening, there will be a beer dinner and pub crawl. Philly Beer Week 2013 will take place at numerous locations in and around Philadelphia. Recent Beer Weeks have included a number of signature events, including the Opening Tap (listed separately on the calendare); Smoke 'Em If Yous Got 'Em, a beer and barbecue festival; Forum of the Gods, a panel discussion with the top names in beer culture; the Jackson Tutored Tastings; and Zythos America. In addition, there were hundreds of events including beer dinners, special tastings, releases, and meet-the-brewer evenings.

Vancouver's fourth annual Craft Beer Week will take place at various locations in metropolitan Vancouver. This celebration of craft beer culture in the region will consist of daily headline events, including the VCBW Beer Festival. Other events at recent festivals have included beer dinners, tap takeovers, pub crawls, rock concerts, meet-the-brewer nights, and a "Sisters of the Tap" session.
