8-10: Big Beers, Belgians and Barleywines Festival, Vail, CO

The 15th annual Big Beers, Belgians and Barleywines Festival will be held at Vail Cascade Resort & Spa. This year's events will include brewmaster's dinners on Thursday and Friday, with appearances by representatives of leading breweries; a Friday morning Cicerone program orientation; a Friday afternoon welcome reception; an AHA-sanctioned homebrew competition; an experimental brewing session; expert talks about beer; and a Saturday tasting session with 200 "big" beers from around the world. The festival supports the efforts of the Vail Valley Charitable Fund.

8-10: New York Beer Festival, Rotherham, England

The Rotherham Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 2015 New York Beer Festival, which will take place in the 1925 Suite at New York Stadium, the home of the Rotherham United Football Club. Four bars will serve Real Ales, including all the winners from Rotherham Real Ale and Music Festival, along with ciders, bottled beers, and wines. There will also be "live but not deafening" entertainment, and food will be available for purchase.

9-10: Frodsham Winter Ales Festival, Frodsham, England

Frodsham Care presents the 2015 Frodsham Winter Ales Festival, which will take place at the Parish Church Hall. Recent editions of this festival have featured a selection of high-gravity ales and winter warmers, ciders and wines, and food for purchase.

10: Key Largo Craft Beer Festival, Key Largo, FL

The Key Largo Rotary presents the fourth annual Craft Beer Festival, which will take place at Rowell's Marina on Key Largo. This afternoon event, which ends at sunset, will feature more than 100 domestic and imported craft beers. There will also be live music, along food for purchase. VIP tickets, with early admission, are available. There will be other events during the weekend, including a homebrew competition and a meet-and-greet on Friday and a hangover brunch on Sunday.

10-17: Kalamazoo Beer Week, Kalamazoo, MI

The fifth annual Kalamazoo Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Kalamazoo. There will be more than 200 events, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

16-17: Exeter Festival of Winter Ales, Exeter, England

The Exeter & East Devon Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 26th annual Exeter Festival of Winter Ales, which will take place on the grounds of the Exeter City Football Club in St James Park. Organizers expect to have 72 Real Ales, along with ciders and perries. There will also be live entertainment, and food will be available for purchase.

16-17: Great Alaska Beer & Barleywine Festival, Anchorage, AK

Aurora Productions, Inc., presents the 21st annual Great Alaska Beer & Barleywine Festival, which will take place in the Egan Convention Center in Anchorage. There will be three tasting sessions, including a connoisseur session on Saturday afternoon, each with 200 barleywine-style beers, winter warmers, and other seasonal beers from 50 breweries. In addition, there will be a judged competition, live music, and food for purchase. The festival benefits the American Diabetes Association.

17: Cabin Fever, Maplewood, MO

The Schlafly Bottleworks, in Maplewood, will host Cabin Fever, the 2015 Schlafly Winter Beer Festival. This afternoon outdoor event will feature a selection of Schlafly beers, including winter seasonals, along with live music.

17: Flagstaff BrewHaHa, Flagstaff, AZ

Greenhouse Productions presents the fifth annual Flagstaff BrewHaHa, which will take place at the High Country Conference Center. This afternoon event will feature beer from more than 35 breweries, many of them from Arizona. There will also be live entertainment. A VIP luncheon, with a special selection of beers, will take place before the festival itself. Proceeds will go to Northern Arizona Habitat for Humanity.

17: Hibrewnation Festival of Beer, Gettysburg, PA

The 2015 Gettysburg edition of the Hibrewnation Festival of Beer will be held at the Allstar Complex. This afternoon event will feature more than 80 beers and liquors. There will also be a beer education program, and food will be available for purchase. VIP tickets, with early admission and a special selection of beers, are available.

17: Isthmus Beer & Cheese Fest, Madison, WI

Isthmus magazine presents the sixth annual Isthmus Beer & Cheese Fest, which will take place at the Alliant Energy Center Exhibition Hall in Madison. This afternoon event will feature hundreds of beers from Wisconsin breweries, along with cheese from local producers. Premium Tasting tickets, with early admission, a special selection of beers and cheeses, and an opportunity to meet the brewers and cheesemakers, are available.

17: Mankato Craft Beer Expo, Mankato, MN

Chop Liver Craft Beer Festival presents the third annual Mankato Craft Beer Expo, which will take place at the Verizon Wireless Center in downtown Mankato. This afternoon event will feature beer from 40 craft breweries, many of them from Minnesota, with brewery and distributor representatives in attendance. There will also be live music; food and merchandise vendors; and educational presentations on food pairing, homebrewing, and Minnesota brewing history.

17: Rapscallion Winterfest, Fiskdale, MA

The Rapscallion Table & Tap, in Fiskdale, will host the 2015 Rapscallion Winterfest. This all-day, winter-themed event, which celebrates the release of Rapscallion's seasonal Winterfest ale, will also feature live music by Big Jo Short and Livestock, along with food for purchase. Admission is free.

17: World Beer Festival-Columbia, Columbia, SC

All About Beer magazine presents the seventh annual Columbia edition of the World Beer Festival, which will take place at the Columbia Convention Center. There will be afternoon and evening tasting sessions, each with more than 200 beers. There will also be live music, an educational program at the "Art of Beer Village," and food for purchase. VIP tickets, with a food buffet and a special selection of beers, are available.

17: Yaga's Chili Quest & Beer Fest, Galveston, TX

The sixth annual Yaga's Chili Quest & Beer Fest will be held in Galveston's historic Strand District. This afternoon event will feature more than 120 craft and imported beers, with brewers in attendance, along with chili from over 80 cook-off teams. Other weekend events include a party at Yaga’s the night before the festival, a washer-pitching tournament, a jackpot margarita contest, a jalapeno-eating competition, a 5-K fun run, a Strand merchant walkabout.

21-24: Manchester Beer & Cider Festival, Manchester, England

The Greater Manchester Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 2015 Manchester Beer & Cider Festival, which will take place at The Velodrome in the National Cycling Center. This four-day event will feature more than 500 beers, ciders, and perries, including a selection of cask-conditioned ales and bottled and imported beers. There will also be food vendors and a games area. The festival venue is a training facility for both British Cycling and Team Sky.

22-24: Cambridge Winter Ale Festival, Cambridge, England

The Cambridge & District Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the 19th annual Cambridge Winter Ale Festival, which will take place at the University Social Club. This three-day event will feature more than 100 Real Ales from local and national breweries, along with a selection of local ciders and foreign bottled beers.

23-24: Beamish Hall Winter Festival, Beamish, England

The Beamish Hall Best Western Country House Hotel will host its annual Winter Festival. This two-day, indoor-outdoor event will feature more than 60 Real Ales, ciders, and perries. There will be continuous live entertainment both days.

23-24: Beer Summit Winter Jubilee, Boston, MA

BeerSummit.com presents the 14th annual Winter Jubilee, which will take place at the Park Plaza Castle in Boston. The festival will consist of three tasting sessions, each of which will feature more than 200 beers, including winter seasonals, from over 60 Massachusetts and New England breweries.

23: Field of Beers, Jupiter, FL

The seventh annual Field of Beers festival will be held at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, the spring training home of the Florida Marlins and the St. Louis Cardinals. This evening event will feature 15 stations, with each station pairing craft-brewed beers and food served by a team of Palm Beach-area chefs headed by Chef Kyle Pintarelli.

23-24: First Taste Oregon, Salem, OR

First Taste Oregon 2015 will be held at Columbia Hall on the grounds of the Oregon State Fair & Exposition Center in Salem. This two-day event will feature more than 100 vendors of Oregon products, including craft beer, wine, spirits, food, and merchandise. There will also be live local entertainment at two locations, works by Northwest artists, and culinary demonstrations.

23: Pour for a Cure, Pittsburgh, PA

The fifth annual Pour For A Cure will be held in the US Steel Tower in Pittsburgh. This evening event will feature a selection of beers, along with live music, food samples from local restaurants, and an auction. The festival charity is the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

23-24: Strange Brewfest, Port Townsend, WA

The 11th annual Strange Brewfest will be held at the American Legion Hall in downtown Port Townsend. This two-day indoor/outdoor will feature the products of more than 35 breweries and cideries from the Northwest. There will be live music with a "heavy dose of funk”; a DJ and light show; entertainment, including chainsaw carving and belly dancing; and food for purchase.

23-24: Denver Winter Ales Festival, Denver, CO

Right On Productions presents the 2015 Denver Winter Ales Festival, which will take place at Mile High Station in Denver. This two-day event will feature a wide selection of beers (there were more than 90 beers from over 35 breweries in recent years), along with live music in the evening and food and merchandise vendors. VIP tickets, with early admission, cheese, and a special beer pouring, are available. The festival benefits the Swallow Hill Music Association.

23-24: Lichfield Winter Beer Festival, Lichfield, England

Lichfield Arts presents the 2015 Lichfield Winter Beer & Wine Festival, which will take place at The Guildhall. This community event will feature more than 25 Real Ales and traditional ciders, along with wine. Radio Mary (Friday) and Last Orders (Saturday) are scheduled to perform, and food will be available for purchase.

24: Asheville Winter Warmer Beer Festival, Asheville, NC

ThreeSheets:Design and Brews Cruise, Inc., present the eighth annual Asheville Winter Warmer Beer Festival, which will take place on the Arena Level of the Asheville Civic Center. This late-afternoon event will feature beer from more than 40 breweries, many of them from Asheville and western North Carolina. There will also be live music, and food will be available for purchase. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Western North Carolina Alliance.

24: Atlanta Cask Ale Tasting, Sandy Springs, GA

Brewtopia, LLC, presents the 11th annual Atlanta Cask Ale Tasting, which will take place at 5 Seasons Westside & Taco Mac Prado, two adjacent establishments in Sandy Springs' Prado Center. This late-afternoon event will feature 40 cask-conditioned ales from the U.S. and the U.K., voting for the "People's Choice" award, and food items from 5 Seasons and Taco Mac. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Atlanta Humane Society.

24-25: Atlanta Winter Beer Fest, Atlanta, GA

AtlantaBeerFestivals.com presents the 2015 Atlanta Winter Beer Fest, which will take place at Masquerade, an indoor venue, and in tents outside in Music Park. This two-day event will feature more than 300 beers from local and national breweries, including a selection of gluten-free beers. There will be live music on five stages, games and other entertainment, and food for purchase.

24: Beer, Bourbon & Barbecue Festival, New York, NY

Trigger Agency, LLC, kicks off the 2015 Beer, Bourbon & Barbecue Festival tour at The Tunnel in Manhattan. The festival will consist of an afternoon "Bacon Bash Session" and an evening "Whole Hog Pickin' Session," each with unlimited sampling of 60 beers and 40 bourbons. There will also be live bluegrass music; barbecue, Southern specialties, and other foods; and seminars led by master distillers, brewmasters, and pit masters. "Grand Poobah" tickets, with admission to both sessions and a special selection of bourbons, are available.

24: Beer Dabbler Showcase at the Winter Carnival, St. Paul, MN

The sixth annual Beer Dabbler Showcase at the Winter Carnival will take place on the midway of the Minnesota State Fair in St. Paul. This late-afternoon outdoor event will feature beer 140 local, regional, and national breweries. There will also be live music and a silent disco, and food trucks will be at the festival site.

24: Big Dog's Winterfest, Las Vegas, NV

Las Vegas Weekly presents the Big Dog's Winterfest 2015, which will take place at Big Dog's Draft House in Las Vegas. This afternoon/evening event will feature more than 40 beers. There will also be live music, food and merchandise for purchase, and a prize raffle. Admission is free. Part of the proceeds will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

24: Brews & Bros Craft Beer Festival, Upland, CA

Dale Bros Brewery presents the 12th annual Brews & Bros Craft Beer Festival, which will take place at Cable Airport in Upland. This afternoon event will feature more than 60 beers from 25 local breweries. There will also be live music, vintage and custom motorcycles, food for purchase, and games. VIP tickets, with early admission and a meet-the-brewer session, are available. The festival charity is the Claremont Educational Foundation.

24: Coralville Brrr Fest, Coralville, IA

The sixth annual Coralville Brrr Fest will be held at the Coralville Marriott Hotel and Conference Center Exhibit Hall. This afternoon event will feature a selection of winter seasonals (recent editions of this festival have featured beer from more than 40 Midwestern breweries). Food will be available for purchase. Brewmaster tickets, with early admission and an opportunity to meet the brewers, are available. Part of the proceeds will benefit Coralville's annual 4th Fest celebration.

24: JA World Uncorked, Coconut Creek, FL

Southern Wine & Spirits of Florida and the Circle of Wise Women present the fifth annual JA Uncorked, which will take place at the JA World Huizenga Center at Broward College in Coconut Creek. This evening event will feature craft beer, wine, and spirits, along with menu items and desserts from local restaurants. There will also be dancing, an auction, and culinary competitions. Proceeds will benefit Junior Achievement of South Florida.

24: Niagara Wine & Beer Fest, Lockport, NY

The Kenan Center, in Lockport, will host the fourth annual Niagara Wine & Beer Fest. The evening event, which is a benefit for the Center's arts, educational, and recreation programs, will feature the products of more than 20 breweries and wineries, along with live music, food for purchase, an auction, and a 50/50 raffle.

24: Super Brew VI, New Castle, PA

Super Brew VI will be held at the Crane Room Grille in New Castle. There will be afternoon and evening tasting sessions, each with more than 50 beers from local and national craft breweries, along with live entertainment and food for purchase. There will be two VIP lounges. Proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.

24: Brewfest Wooster, Wooster, OH

Brewfest Wooster 2015 will be held at Wooster Hospitality Transit. This evening event will feature beer from around ten breweries, most of them from Ohio. The breweries will compete for Best Brewery and Best Winter Warmer honors. There will also be live music, and food will be available for purchase. All proceeds will benefit the Wayne Center for the Arts.

24: Jupiter Craft Brewers Festival, Jupiter, FL

The ninth annual Jupiter Craft Brewers Festival will take place at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, the home of the Florida Marlins and the St. Louis Cardinals. This afternoon event will feature more than 100 craft beers from around the country, including beers brewed in south Florida. There will also be live local entertainment. Craftoberfest, "where craft beer meets Octoberfest,” is a free event that takes place in conjunction with the festival itself.

24: North County Beer Festival, Vista, CA

The 2015 North County Beer Festival will be held at the Moonlight Amphitheatre in Vista. This afternoon event will feature more than 50 beers from over 25 breweries, along with live music from three bands.

24: Pints for a Purpose, Winsted, CT

The second annual Pints for a Purpose will be held at Whiting Mills in Winsted. This evening event will feature beer from more than a dozen breweries. "Blues Patrol,” a Blues Brothers tribute show, will perform; and light snacks will be available. The festival is a benefit for the Northwest Connecticut YMCA.

24: Real Ale Real Love Firkin Festival, Loveland, CO

The inaugural Real Ales Real Love Firkin Festival will be held at the Best Western Hotel in Loveland. This afternoon/evening event will feature firkins from Loveland’s Grimm Brothers and Verboten Brewing, along with one-off beers from northern Colorado breweries. Brewery representatives will be on hand. In addition, two live acts will perform.

24: South Bend Brewfest, South Bend, IN

The fourth annual South Bend Brewfest will be held downtown at the Century Center. This afternoon event, which celebrates the city’s 150th anniversary, will feature more than 150 beers, most of them from the Midwest. There will also be live music, a homebrewing demonstration, a charity auction, and pretzel necklaces. VIP tickets, with a special selection of beers, food and beer pairings, and an opportunity to meet the brewers, are available.

24: Top of the Hops Beer Festival-Biloxi, Biloxi, MS

The 2015 Biloxi edition of the Top of the Hops Beer Festival will be held at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Convention Center. The evening event will feature more than 150 craft beers, including a selection of high-gravity beers; the "Brew University" Education Area with presentations on cooking with beer, food pairings, and "Brewing 101"; live music; and games. 25: Bock Fest, Los Angeles, CA

Barcelona Enterprises presents the 2015 Bock Fest, which will take place at a new venue, the Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles. This afternoon event will feature a variety of beers (there were around 70 in recent years), with an emphasis on bock beers, winter warmers, and other seasonals. Celebrity judges and festival-goers will choose their favorite beers. VIP tickets, with early admission and unlimited pours, are available.

28-31: Colchester Winter Ale Festival, Colchester, England

The Colchester Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the eighth annual Colchester Winter Ale Festival, which will take place at the Arts Centre, a centuries-old deconsecrated church. This four-day event will feature more than 120 beers from East Anglia, along with Real Ciders and Perries, English wines, and a Belgian bar offering draft and bottled beers. Food will be available for purchase, and there will be live music on Saturday night.

29-31: Bent N Bongs Beer Bash, Atherton, England

The Bent N Bongs Charitable Trust, in association with the Wigan Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale, presents the 26th annual Bent and Bongs Beer Bash, which will take place at Formby Hall in Atherton. This three-day event will feature around 80 Real Ales, including both new beers and old favorites, served at three bars. There will also be live entertainment; food for purchase, including Bury black puddings, sausages, and sandwiches; live entertainment; and merchandise vendors. Proceeds will be donated to local charities.

30: The Art of Beer, McClellan, CA

The Art of Beer 2015 will be held at Aerospace Museum of California in McClellan. This evening event will feature beer from more than 30 breweries and cider from three cideries. A number of artists will be in attendance, and "beer art lounges" will be set up. Food vendors from across the country will be at the museum. VIP tickets are available for the "Rare Beer Hour," which will take place before the event itself. The festival is a benefit for Ales for Autism.

30-31: Art & Craft Beerfest, Lansing, MI

A2 Creative Corridor, The Cadillac Room, and REO Town Pub present the 2015 Art & Craft Beerfest, which will take place at the three sponsoring venues. This two-day event will feature more than 25 beers, all from Traverse City's Right Brain Brewery; a variety of works by Michigan artists; and food for purchase. VIP tickets, with early admission, are available. The festival is a fund-raiser for Pennies for Power.

30-31: Columbus Winter Beerfest, Columbus, OH

Festivals Unlimited LLC presents the fifth annual Columbus Winter Beerfest, which will take place in expanded quarters at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. This two-day event will feature more than 300 beers from over 60 breweries, along with live music. VIP tickets with early admission, and connoisseur tickets with early admission, complimentary food, and a special selection of beers, are available.

30-31: Elysian Winter Beer Festival, Ely, England

The Ely & District Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents the sixth annual Elysian Winter Beer Festival, which will take place at The Maltings in Ely. This two-day event will feature around 60 Real Ales, along with a selection of ciders and foreign bottled beers. Food will be available for purchase.

30-February 8 Volusia Beer Week, Volusia County, FL

Volusia Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in DeLand and Volusia County. The headline events of this ten-day celebration are the DeLand Craft Beer Festival, a “Brews & Bowties” beer dinner, and an appearance by author Patrick McGovern. There will be many other events, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

30-31: Winterfest XVII, Salisbury, England

The Salisbury & South Wilts Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale presents Winterfest XVII, which will take place at a new venue, the British Legion in Salisbury. Recent editions of this two-day, three-session event have featured more than 20 seasonal Real Ales, along with a selection of ciders and food for purchase.

31: Belgianfest, Seattle, WA

The Washington Beer Commission presents the sixth annual Belgianfest, which will take place at Bell Harbor International Conference Center on Seattle’s waterfront. This all-day event will feature more than 80 Belgian-inspired beers, some of them festival specials, from Washington State breweries. Food will be available for purchase.

31: Brewers of Indiana Guild Winterfest, Indianapolis, IN

The Brewers of Indiana Guild presents its seventh annual Winterfest, which will take place in expanded quarters in the Marsh Blue Ribbon Pavilion on the Indiana State Fairgrounds. This afternoon event will feature more than 200 beers from over 80 Indiana breweries, along with beer from selected guest breweries. VIP tickets, with early admission, are available.

31: Buffalo Winter Brewfest, Buffalo, NY

The 2015 Buffalo Winter Brewfest will be held at the Connecticut Street Armory. There will be afternoon and evening tasting sessions, each with a selection of local, domestic, and imported beers (there were more than 50 in recent years). 31: Central New York Brewfest, Syracuse, NY

The 19th annual Central New York Brewfest will be held in the Exhibit Center inside the Horticulture Building on the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse. There will be afternoon and evening tasting sessions, each with beer from regional, national, and international breweries. Rob & The Js are scheduled to perform, and food will be available for purchase.

31: Dayton Brew Ha Ha, Dayton, OH

The fourth annual Dayton Brew Ha-Ha will be held at the Montessori School Of Dayton. This evening event, which is a benefit for the school, will feature beer from 40 breweries, all of them from Ohio. There will also be local entertainment, a silent auction, and games of chance with beer as prizes.

31: Festibiere d’Hiver, Gatineau, QC, Canada

La Chapelle presents Festibiere d’Hiver 2015, which will take place at the Museum of Canadian History in Gatineau. This two-day event will feature more than 100 beers from over 25 Quebec and Ontario breweries, along with live entertainment and food prepared by Museum chef Martin de Board.

31: Great Beer Expo at the Meadowlands, Secaucus, NJ

Starfish Junction Production presents the fifth annual International Great Beer Expo at the Meadowlands, which will take place at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus. There will be two tasting sessions, each with more than 150 beers from more than 80 breweries representing 15 countries. There will also be an educational program, and food will be available for purchase. The festival charity is the Beer for Brains Foundation.

31: Heavy Seas Beer & Oyster Fest, Halethorpe, MD

Heavy Seas Brewery, in Halethorpe, will host its eighth annual Beer & Oyster Fest. This afternoon event will feature more than a dozen draft Heavy Seas beers, along with eight varieties of oysters, live music, and food from local restaurants and caterers.

31: Lincoln Square Winterbrew, Chicago, IL

The Lincoln Square Chamber of Commerce and the Square Kegs Home Brew Club present the fourth annual Lincoln Square Winterbrew, which will take place at the Dank Haus in Chicago's Lincoln Square. There will be afternoon and evening tasting sessions, each with Chicago-brewed beer and local food.

31: Miami Beer Festival, Miami, FL

The third annual Miami Beer Festival will be held at a new venue, Marlins Park. This evening event will feature beer from dozens of domestic and international breweries, including some from south Florida. There will also be DJ music and other entertainment, and food trucks will be at the park. VIP tickets, with early admission and a special selection of beers, are available.

31: Queen City Brewers Festival, Charlotte, NC

The fourth annual Queen City Brewers Festival will be held at the historic Bojangles’ Coliseum in Charlotte. There will be afternoon and evening tasting sessions, each with beer from a number of breweries from the region. Breweries have been asked to pour a “super” beer to celebrate Sunday’s big football game. There will also be live music, food samples, and works from local artists. Proceeds will benefit ACEing Autism.

31: Rhode Island Winter Brew Fest, Pawtucket, RI

The third annual Rhode Island Winter Brew Fest will be held at the Pawtucket Armory. There will be afternoon and evening tasting sessions, each with more than 175 beers from over 55 American breweries, including beers brewed in Rhode Island. There will also be a food court and local vendors. Part of the proceeds will benefit the Rhode Island Brewers Guild.
