Beer Weeks 2015

Beer Weeks are city, or regionally organized, multi-event celebrations showcasing craft beer. They've become increasingly popular over the last year, as they offer even more opportunities to quaff great locally brewed beers over the course of several days at different venues and establishments. Although they all appear in the monthly event calendars, we've organized them here alphabetically for you. Click on the location to show the details and a link.



American Craft Beer Week, nationwide: May 11-17

The Brewers Association presents American Craft Beer Week 2015, which will take place at establishments across the country. American Craft Beer Week, which kicks off the summer craft beer season, will be celebrated by hundreds of craft brewers and beer retailers, thousands of beer fans, and a congressional resolution honoring the nation's craft brewing industry.

Annapolis, MD: April 18-25

Annapolis Beer Week 2015 will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Annapolis. Headline events of this eight-day celebration of craft beer include Drafts and Laughs and the Maryland Chicken Wing and Beer Festival. There will be many other events, such as a Beer Run, beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, and tastings.

Arizona, various locations: February 12-21

The Arizona Craft Brewers Guild presents the fifth annual Arizona Beer Week, which will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues throughout the state. This year’s celebration has been expanded to ten days. The kickoff event is the Arizona Strong Beer Festival. There will be more than 250 other events, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Charlotte, NC: March 20-28

The fifth annual Charlotte Craft Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues throughout the Charlotte area. The headline event of this nine-day celebration is the All Ale to the Queen Beer Carnival. There will be more than 100 other events such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Cincinnati, OH: February 13-22

The fourth annual Cincinnati Beer Week will take place at more than 100 venues, including breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, in Cincinnati, southwest Ohio, and northern Kentucky. The headline events of this celebration, which has been expanded to ten days, are the Cincy Winter Brewfest, the Taproom Trolley preview tour, and a collaboration beer produced by 13 area breweries. Other events will include beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, and tastings.

Colorado: March 21-29

The Colorado Brewers Guild presents Colorado Beer Week 2015, which will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues throughout Colorado. The headline event is Collaboration Fest in Denver. There will many other events, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Frederick, MD: May 29-June 6

The fifth annual Frederick Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Frederick. This nine-day celebration kicks off with the Frederick Beer Week Tap Takeover, and closes with Beerfest at the Farm. There will be many other events such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Grand Rapids, MI: February 22-28

The fourth annual Grand Rapids Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Grand Rapids. The headline event of this celebration is the two-day Michigan Brewers Guild's Winter Beer Festival, along with pre- and post-festival parties. There will be a number of other events such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Howard County, MD: March 21-29

Howard County Beer Week 2015 will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in the county. Headline events of this celebration, which has been expanded to nine days, include the Tap Party, which kicks off Beer Week, and the Spring Beer Festival. There will be other events, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Kalamazoo, MI: January 10-17

The fifth annual Kalamazoo Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Kalamazoo. There will be more than 200 events, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Las Vegas, Reno, and other locations in NV: May 18-30

The fifth annual Nevada Beer Weeks will take place at hundreds of breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in Las Vegas and Reno, as well as at other locations in Nevada. The headline event of this 13-day celebration is The Springs Preserve's Brews & Blues Festival in Las Vegas. Other events will include beer dinners, meet-the-brewer events, pub crawls, trivia contests, beer releases, and special tastings.

Lehigh Valley, PA: February 15-22

The third annual Lehigh Valley Beer Week will take place at at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in the Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton areas. There will be a number of events, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Madison, WI: May 1-10

Madison Craft Beer Week 2015 will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Madison. This ten-day, two-weekend celebration will promote Madison's craft beer culture and educate people about it. The headline event is a Cask Ale Festival. There will be many other events, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, beer walks, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Missoula, MT: April 25-May 2

Craft Beer Promotions LLC presents the third annual Missoula Beer Week, which will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Missoula. The headline event of this seven-day celebration is the Garden City Brewfest. There will be other events such as beer dinners, beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

New York, NY: February 20-March 1

The New York City Brewers Guild and the New York State Brewers Association present the seventh annual New York City Beer Week, which will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in the city. This ten-day celebration will begin with the Opening Tap at more than 100 locations. This year the Ruppert Cup’s will be awarded to the best brewer, to be voted on by the public. Omaha, NE: February 13-22

The fourth annual Omaha Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in the Omaha metropolitan area. The headline event of this ten-day celebration is the Extreme Beerfest. There will be many other events, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Philadelphia, PA: May 29-June 7

The eighth annual Philly Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Philadelphia. This ten-day celebration kicks off with the Opening Tap. Other headline events will include the Hammer of Glory Relay and the International Great Beer Expo. There will be hundreds of other events such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Portsmouth, NH: February 21-March 5

2BeerGuys presents the sixth annual Portsmouth Beer Week, which will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Portsmouth. The headline event of this ten-day celebration is the Seacoast Winter Brew Fest. There will also be other events, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Sacramento, CA: February 26-March 8

The sixth annual Sacramento Beer Week will take place at at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in the Sacramento Valley. The headline events are the Sacramento Brewers Showcase, which opens the celebration, and the Capital Beerfest, which closes it. There will also be hundreds of other events such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

San Francisco Bay Area, CA: February 6-15

The San Francisco Brewers Guild presents San Francisco Beer Week 2015, which will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues throughout the Bay Area. This ten-day celebration gets underway with the Opening Gala. There will be more than 400 other events, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Seattle, WA: May 7-17

The seventh annual Seattle Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Seattle. The headline events are Cask-O-Rama, which kicks off this 11-day celebration; and Beer and Brats in the Outfield at Safeco Field. Other events will include a celebration of Northwest women in beer, appearances by beer celebrities, beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, release parties, tap takeovers, and specially-priced drinks.

Tampa Bay Area, FL: March 7-15

The fourth annual Tampa Bay Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in the Tampa Bay area. The headline event of this nine-day celebration is the Florida Brewers Guild Beer Festival. There will be more than 150 other events, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Tri-Cities of Johnson City and Kingsport, TN, and Bristol, VA: April 4-11

The 2015 Tri-Cities Craft Beer Week will take place at at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in Johnson City, Kingsport, and Bristol, and nearby communities. This eight-day celebration, to be held in one of the nation’s fastest-growing craft beer regions, will feature events such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.

Victoria, BC, Canada: March 7-15

The Victoria Beer Week Society presents the 2015 Victoria Beer Week. It will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in and around Victoria. This nine-day celebration will kick off with a Cask Night at the Victoria Public Market. There will be many other events, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, an educational program, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, and tastings.

Volusia County, FL: January 30-February 8

Volusia Beer Week will take place at breweries, bars, restaurants, stores, and other venues in DeLand and Volusia County. The headline events of this ten-day celebration are the DeLand Craft Beer Festival, a “Brews & Bowties” beer dinner, and an appearance by author Patrick McGovern. There will be many other events, such as beer dinners and beer and food pairings, tours, meet-the-brewer events, release parties, tap takeovers, tastings, and specially-priced drinks.
