with news and features from the magazine's archives. There
are tasting notes, guest columns, a brewpub finder, and an
online bookstore.
Beer Advocate
This site features outspoken commentary from veteran

beer reviews and travel narratives, all the basics at "Beer
101," and a roundup of news.
Beer.com
Funded by the big breweries, this site is aimed at men in
their twenties. If you can get past the content, much of it
sexist, you'll find an archive of beer news, links to
thousands of breweries around the world, and a North American
bar finder.
Beer
Me!
This site used be called "Beer is My Life!" but a brewery in
Minnesota trademarked that slogan. Organized by Richard
Stueven, a/k/a "Gak," it features an exhaustive list of the
world's breweries, and reviews of thousands of beers,
including his "Hall of Fame" and "Hall of Swill"
lists.
Beer South
There's plenty of good beer in the South, and this site stays
on top of what's brewing there. You'll find a listing of
micros and brewpubs, many with links; information on
festivals; and archives of newsletters, including The Beer
South Buzz.
Celebrator Beer News
The indispensable "brewspaper" for beer travellers has
expanded its coverage from its West Coast base to include
breweries and events worldwide. Many Celebrator
columns and features are archived on this site.
L.A.
Beer
A site for beer loving Angelinos and visitors who want to
visit the local "hop spots." It features a city-by-city
directory of "good beer spots," with user-supplied reviews;
and a growing list of beer links. >
Michigan
Beer Guide
Use this handy site to plan your beer tour of Michigan. It
features a calendar of upcoming events, including dinners and
tastings; beer news; links to breweries and pubs; a list of
places serving cask-conditioned ale; and a history of brewing
in the state.
New Mexico Virtual
Brewpub
A great resource for Albuquerque beer drinkers, but there's
plenty more on this site: a festival calendar; reviews of
beers, brewpubs, and beer bars, and festivals; and tart
commentary on the politics of beer.
The
Northwest Brew Page
This site is a resource for those interested in the wonderful
beers of Oregon and Washington. You'll find dozens of links
to brewpubs, alehouses, and other sources of information
about the region's beer.
Pubcrawler

site offers a searchable database of more than 3,800 U.S.
brewpubs and alehouses, many with community ratings and
reviews. Discussion boards and beer news, too.

collection is a great starting point for a tour, real or
virtual. It contains more than 150,000 pages of information
covering everything from food and beer pairings to political
developments.
Tastings.com
The Beverage Tasting Institute, longtime sponsor of beer
competitions, offers a searchable "brewbase" containing
hundreds of reviews by its staff of professional tasters.
You'll also find well-written descriptions of more than 60
styles of beer.
